Bug ID: 124695
Summary: "Replace typewriter apostrophe or question mark" in
correction suggestions does not preserve CAPS
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: philipper905 at gmail.com
LibreOffice writer suggests to correct straight apostrophes (which are called
typewriter apostrophes I believe) to curlier ones. However, if the word is in
all caps, for example: USSR's, it will be corrected to Ussr's (albeit with the
curly apostrophe). I would assume the correction should be case insensitive.
Apologies if this is not a bug, or if I am not using Bugzilla in its intended
fashion.
