Thank you, Dieter. The profile reset did not help, but in the process I found I
had misrepresented the problem. The superscript letters in question are not
actual footnote anchors, but mere plain text used as footnote markers. So I've
retitled this report accordingly. I don't know how to classify this,
enhancement or bug, but I think that superscript letters should be excluded
from spellcheck, at least optionally.
