--- Comment #1 from Julien Nabet <serval2412 at yahoo.fr> ---
To start from a good base, here what I'd do:
- backup your important files (odt or others)
- if you use any LO or Apache OpenOffice extension, note them down somewhere
and uninstall them
- uninstall both Apache OpenOffice and LO
- rename your LO directory profile (see
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Corrupted_user_profile)
- download last stable LO version 6.3.5 and install it

Before reinstalling any extension, make these tests:
- Launch LO, write "test" in a brand new file and check you can save it and
close LO without crash
- reopen the file, change something, save it again and close
- open one of your previous file, make a slight change, save and close LO

If everything is ok, reinstall extensions and make these tests again.

I know it's a bit long but if you reproduce a crash at one of these steps, it
may help to investigate.

If you finally prefer Apache OpenOffice, I'd advise to uninstall LO before
installing again Apache OpenOffice.
Perhaps some people may indicate that having both may work and perhaps it's
true, I wouldn't try it to be safer.
