Thanks for helping.
I have not done all the steps you suggest, as at the moment things are OK.
Libre is opening in full mode, and I am being extra careful to save AND close
all odt files well before closing Libre, and so far no further crashes.
Probably a dumb question. What are the 'extensions' you mention? I have never
done anything but write.
