            Bug ID: 135284
Summary: LIST STYLE fails to apply correctly when linked to
paragraph style via "Outline and Numbering" tab
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org

Writer doc showing a problem with numbering of paragraphs

Version: 6.4.4.2 (x64)
Build ID: 3d775be2011f3886db32dfd395a6a6d1ca2630ff
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: default; VCL: win;
Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI-Language: en-GB
Calc: threaded

1. Open the attached document and observe the two numbered lists on page 1,
labelled "Contents 1" and "Contents 2".

2. CONTENTS 1 was created by selecting 5 paragraphs (style = "Contents 4") and
applying "Numbering 123" DIRECTLY from the "List styles" tab.

3. Contents 2 was created by selecting 5 paragraphs (style = "Contents 3") and
linking "Numbering 123" via "Paragraph style > Outline and Numbering >
Numbering".

EXPECTED RESULT: Both lists should have EXACTLY the same appearance because all
the properties have EXACTLY the same values. In both cases the settings in
"List style > Position" should overrule the Indent settings for the paragraph.

ACTUAL RESULT: The list under "Contents 1" (where the numbering style was
applied from the "List styles" tab) has the CORRECT text indentation. However,
the list under Contents 2 (where the numbering style is linked via the "Outline
and Numbering" tab of the paragraph style) has the wrong indentation. It seems
that in the second case, the "Tab stop" (from List style > Position) is
correct, but the "Indent" property (from List style > Position) is being
ignored.
