Thanks for looking into this. I just tested again with another user profile on
my macbook and - poof! - everything works fine. 

So, the problem seems to be with my user profile. Strange enough, starting LO
in safe mode does not solve the problem. So it's probably not the LO user
profile, but something in relation to my mac user profile. However, not a
(genuine) LO-problem, it seems.
