Can you be a bit more explicit how to reproduce this?

I don't know much about the CMIS/Remote files functionality, just quickly
tried, but for me the dialogs are always visible.

This screencast shows how it behaves for me on Debian testing (file will
probably be deleted at some point in time in the future):

Also, when choosing "File" -> "Open Remote...", then cancelling and doing the
same a few times, the dialog is well visible in my case.
