--- Comment #67 from Apt <natedheeren at gmail.com> ---
Thanks for the response, Timur. Here is the info:

LO version: 7.0.1.2 (x64)
-Apologies that I referred to it as 7.1 earlier. I was mistaken. To my
knowledge, 7.0.1 is the latest release version.

OS: Windows 10

Steps to reproduce:
1) Open my notepad .txt.
2) Open three .odt files with Writer.
-In case the doc sizes are a factor, the .odt's are ~800kb, ~360kb, and ~220 kb
respectively.
-In case it's relevant, I normally keep the notepad .txt on the first monitor
and the .odt's on the second monitor.
3) Continue to copy selections from the .txt and paste them to the .odt. It has
become normal for the paste to fail within 5-10 iterations of this process
(with the context menu in LO indicating that it's like nothing is currently
copied, although I can still paste in notepad what is currently copied from the
.txt).
4) Once the issue crops up, my workaround is to repeatedly copy the selection
in the .txt until LO registers the copy, but it's unpredictable when LO will
actually do so. Sometimes it only takes one re-copy. Sometimes it takes five
re-copies. I think time might be a factor here.
