SUCCESS! I'm embarassed to admit that I did not read all the way to the bottom.
Once I unchecked "Full Disk Access", quit LibreOffice, opened LibreOffice again
and once again selected (re-granted) Full Disk Access, the "Save" functions
worked as they should. Thank you for suggesting I read the full message.
