Btw. not reproduced here - I don't have KDE's clipboard manager active. Do you?

You can deactivate it by right-clicking your system tray, selecting System Tray
settings, clicking Icons tab, scrolling to system services and changing the
setting for Clipboard (I'm using Finnish KDE desktop, so I hope the English
strings are right).
