Hi Cedric,
I've just pushed this:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=40fe511d0ed56d4481cad9c278899f3b9167cdb5
both to master, as well as libreoffice-3-5 - so writing you because you
seem to have changed that to showing by default. This does not affect
showing eg. the page breaks, they are still shown by default.
Even though I myself like to see what exactly my document is doing, the
non-printing characters are too much even for me during normal
operation; so thinking of less technical users, I don't think they want
to see the non-printing characters by default.
CCing the UX guys - I hope this change is OK, and will not create a huge
thread :-)
Regards,
Kendy
