Hi,

I fully agree, setting of border/line thickness is a problem. A month ago I

- sent my suggestions regarding this:
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-ux-advise/2012-October/001453.html

- submitted a bug:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48622

- prepared related dialog mockups:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=59895

Simplification of border setting would be very useful.
