For example on Fedora, clicking an attachment in Thunderbird to open it in LO,
Thunderbird stores the attachment as a read-only file in /tmp, then calls LO to
open that read-only file.  (Which is the scenario for which

"Allow for editing of read-only documents" was introduced, which relies on easy
availabiliy of the "Edit File" toggle in the UI.)
