You have a 'Keep Ratio' checkbox at Image Properties -> Type tab 
The user here uses the Crop Tab - Scale setting -> To adjust the image size.
But changing the scale of width, doesn't adjust the height. It's lacking the
'Keep Ratio' checkbox similar to the Type Tab.

Note: I commented on the fact of the functionality duplication (defining image
size). At the one hand at Crop Tab at the other hand at the Type Tab

Off-topic: I find a checkbox keep ratio (currently found on type tab) visually
unappealing: I like this more https://i.stack.imgur.com/0SwzL.png
