Frank, it is also possible to drag-and-drop a bookmark from the Navigator
sidebar to quickly create a link to it, which might help in your case.
With the Cross-Reference dialog allowing you to insert links to a bookmark in
various forms, and which offers the ability to filter the list, I think there
are options to cover your usecase.
I can see how it could help to add the filtering the the Navigator though (as
opposed to jump to element that matches exactly the searched name). The request
sounds similar to bug 155283, which is about the Styles sidebar.
