I'd say that's a bit of an upside-down argument. Is it not better for people,
who enjoy/benefit from button labels, to easily locate it, and have something
usable already - rather than for them to just believe it doesn't exist and
remain silent about implementation deficiencies? If they complain I'd say
that's a good thing, not a bad thing. 

Complaint is, after all, the second most sincere form of flattery, is it not?
