Hey Cor,

I would suggest you don't mix up a regression with new features. The bug 
you mentioned is a regression, it worked until 3.3.1.2 at least.

If you are up for it, why not just comment on the bug and start looking 
into it? The "easy hacks" are meant for people who are looking for 
something to work on. There's no advantage for you since you already 
know what it's about :-)
