Hi Imacat,
This really belongs on the design list; please reply only to there,
unless you have a patch or are seriously considering doing the work;
as/when you are committed there - then:
libreoffice-ux-advise at lists.freedesktop.org
is a better forum. My personal take is that the longer name is more
descriptive and helpful - if it fits into the normal Unix app selection
guis, but we should have a holistic solution for all apps, and the UX
guys would want to have some input here. Please take it off the dev list
though.
