That is great - welcome :-)  I'd recommend you to get involved in
something that you yourself want to fix, I am sure there is something
that you don't like about LibreOffice, and want to improve - we will
show you where the affected code lives, so that you can fix that.

Just open the sources in your favorite text editor, and start
