Are you referring
XclExpFmlaCompImpl::PrepareFunction()
XclExpFmlaCompImpl::FinishFunction()
XclExpFmlaCompImpl::AppendDefaultParam()
XclExpFmlaCompImpl::AppendTrailingParam()
?

These are used for the BIFF export.
