Why do you think the most complete tutorial is in Linux, for windows and MAC we use lode, which makes a lot of the steps for you.

There are no demand as to on what platform you build LibreOffice, but you cannot test a patch without having build LibreOffice, so there is a demand that you build LibreOffice on any platform.
To be picked, you need to have solved a difficult easyHack and have it successfully merged (accepted).
