Question about Bug 124686

Hello,
I am trying to solve this bug: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124686
But I have a few questions regarding it:   
   - Should there be just a small change for the user interface including the menu? Or should there be a big change including all the function calls, names etc.?
   - I can't find the location where the menu is updated :( Currently, I am working at /core/sw/source/uibase/uno/unomod.cxx  but a change in this file does not effect the writer behaviour.
   - I can't find the right place to insert the new translation.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
