Hello,
one possible agenda item would be to add depreciation warning to old versions of macOS in 7.0?
We don’t necessarily have to drop support, but that gives more flexibility in the future as users have at least been warned
Per my email I would suggest to bump the minimum supported version to macOS 10.11 (no hardware would lose compatibility from the currently supported 10.10)
Then a depreciation warning should be put in for 10.12-13 as they will not receive security fixes past this fall (only 10.13 receive that currently)
Apparently Skia has a backend that would use Metal, which is only supported by hardware capable of running 10.14 (oldest version to receive security fixes from this fall)
Not sure if this is relevant for macOS yet, but maybe in the future (hence depreciation warning)
