Hi,
I did few tests with the libva encode sample app on the Moorestown platform.
I have 2 issues listed below.
1. Encoder fails after some frames
At 352 x 240 resolution encoder crashes after 1597 frames
At 640x480 resolution encoder crashes after around 600 frames
The crash happens in vaEndPicture call.
vaEndPicture returns following error with status code -1
(VA_STATUS_ERROR_UNKNOWN)
psb_drv_video error: buffer is at the address topaz can not access
2. Encoding anything above 640x480 resolution gives the following error.
psb_drv_video error: ERROR: Basic unit size too small. There must be
less than 200 basic units per slice Floating point exception (core dumped)
Does the driver put a limitation for the encoding resolution ?
Driver version : GMA500: psb_drv - 5.1.0.32L.0124
OS : Moblin 2.1
Has anyone faced these issues ?
Regards,
Sambhav
