[LightDM] Problem with login on Xubuntu 14.04

I have Xubuntu 14.04 installed at work on a dual quad-Xeon with 12GB
of RAM and at home on a Phenom II x6 with 16GB.  Both are running the
latest nVidia  driver.

At work, when I have to login (which usually only happens on a
reboot), my userid comes up as the default and I just enter my
password and I'm in.

At home, it can't seem to remember this and I always get the Guest
Session login.

How do I fix this?
