I believe it is my fault... Yesterday I was checking the results, and
I saw I had not been accepted, but not rejected either. So I went to
my gsoc account to see if I could find a yes/no answer on my proposal.
Only to discover that since I submitted it, it has been in a
"withdraw" mode. It was apparently submitted for 10 minutes and then I
must have withdrawed it by mistake, thinking of canceling some
modifications inside the document. The gsoc website isn't particularly
clear about that "withdraw" button, so I did the mistake and I did not
realize that until yesterday.
As I was still seing the proposal on my proposal list I did not worry,
and nobody warn me about the fact that it probably never showed up on
the X.Org list, so there it is...
I am feeling really bad about my mistake, I don't know if a mentor
could have been found if I had submitted the project properly.

Sure I am still interested in working on the project if you are still
interested of course.
I will check that later today.
