The fix seems correct, but reading that regex made my head hurt. Is
there a way to refactor the character classes to be more readable?
OTHER is basically
[{PUNCTUATION}{IDENTIFIER_FIRST_CHAR}[:space:]][{PUNCTUATION}[:space:]]*,
right?
