          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 70402
          Assignee: mesa-dev at lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: SIGSEGV when selecting polygons with i915
                    (libdricore9.2.0.so)
          Severity: critical
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: joe.01.software at gmail.com
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: NEW
           Version: 9.2
         Component: Mesa core
           Product: Mesa

I'm trying to install Autodesk Softimage on a laptop with i915, and the program
crashes consistently when a polygon is selected. This only happens with
polygons, not NURBS or other implicit objects.

Tried selecting polygons in Blender 3D and the crash didn't happen.

Tried Autodesk Softimage on a different laptop with proprietary NVIDIA driver,
and the crash didn't happen.

Stepping through gdb produced this;

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
