Two questions:

1. Did anything else (i.e., the X server) change?

2. Are you able to bisect?

I recently noticed that after some Fedora system update a bunch of the piglit
GLX tests began to fail.  On my system, the failure occur with Mesa 10 and 11. 
I haven't had a chance to investigate it, but it's possible that the failure
you have observed is related.
