I guess you haven't completed the game, there are even worse places
than the benchmark. The beginning of the game is indeed pretty light
and doesn't show many issues.

You might want to try to play a trace from bug 96425, I can't check
how it's on radeonsi but on i965 it's stalling a lot without the
cache.
