it was just a quick test, I'm not too worried about performance. both
frame buffer effects and soft shadows were off (it won't allow me to
turn soft shadows ON), but it used 4x AA so poor performance was
expected.
I used LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 in the environment to run llvmpipe.
