I there a way to get the command line from a configured directory? -
because I didn't do it in one go. In fact, I added the tests only this
morning to test your test-suite patch, and then I got the error. 

Things I know I touched: 

 auto_features   disabled   
 buildtype       debug
 c_args        []
 cpp_args      []
 libdir         lib
 dri-drivers        [] 
 gallium-drivers    [virgl, swrast, r600] 
 valgrind           true 
 vulkan-drivers     [] 
 build-tests        true 
 platforms          [x11, drm, surfaceless]
