[Mesa-users] OpenGL v/s EGL... plz clarify...

hai...

i need some clarifications....is enabling of EGL... different from enabling of OpenGL????
iam asking this because.. if i run an application on OpenGL enabled environment...i can see the interface getting loaded...which says some thing like this..Direct/Interface: Loading "mesa" implementation 
but when i run any application on EGL enabled environment...i dont see the interface getting loaded???..i mean... i dont see this.. "Direct/Interface: Loading "mesa" implementation "
so i just wanted to know.... is there any difference in enabling them???...or in EGL enabled environment ... how to know.. whether the application is using EGL or not???....
plz clarify these... its a kind of mess....
