Yeah, there hasn't been a lot of Windows support going on.  I'd love to 
have someone step up and do that.

The GLU library is in its own git repo now (it was split out of Mesa's 
tree a couple years ago, IIRC).

Unfortunately, there's no scons support for Windows builds.
