This is strange. Could it be maybe a timing issue?
Have you tried to reboot ModemManager (sudo systemctl restart
ModemManager) to see if it works? If it does work after the MM
restart, then maybe we didn't wait long enough for the cdc-wdm port to
be functional after it's been exposed. It wouldn't be the first time
we had to update the amount of time we probe the cdc-wdm ports.
