ModemManager: symbol lookup error: ModemManager: undefined symbol: qmi_client_loc_register_events_finish

Hi All -
New to ModemManager and this list. Got ModemManager to successfully make
and make install with no errors.

Can't seem to get it to start correctly though. Trying to run ModemManager
--debug gives me the error "ModemManager: symbol lookup error:
ModemManager: undefined symbol: qmi_client_loc_register_events_finish" .

The service also fails to start with the following error: " Active: failed
(Result: exit-code) since Mon 2019-03-04 21:41:09 EST; 14h ago
 Main PID: 10196 (code=exited, status=127)"

Running on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
