Wrong again.

After looking at the MM code and seeing that it is explicitly enabled
for qmi_wwan, I realize that I must be missing something.  And sure
enough, this does work.  But how?  Is the format just backwards
compatible?

Well, stuff that works is even better than stuff that doesn't work :)
