Thanks, I googled a bit and I've found his proposal here [1]
Once reviewed that, I think it's a good start, but don't know (or at least,
I haven't found it) if this proposal was already discussed, and where, and
the resolution of it.

Nice, I'm putting Jean-Paul on cc (just in case he's not subscribed to this
list), because I'd like to know a bit more about the old proposal, and/or
if I should start sharing my thoughts about what do I'd like the MPRIS to
have in relation with captions (on a separate thread).

Thanks again for all the pointers, at this moment I don't know from where
to start contributing, so I'll wait until Jean Paul (or anything else) put
me on the right direction to start working on the captions thing. But if
you feel that I should start looking to something prior to start
contributing, I will be happy with that too. :]
