[Networkmanager] NM: Wireless/802.11/Wifi: OWE transition mode support?

Hello,

Looking for some more information on a wireless/802.11/wifi supplicant OWE change.

An NM commit, changed wireless OWE operation from OWE-transition mode to OWE-only mode:

With this change, OWE-transition mode is no longer supported.

WiFi OWE testing requires OWE-transition mode for station testing.
WiFi testing includes a test that an OWE configured station will connect to an open (non-transition) AP.
This WiFi test will not pass with the current OWE-only mode.

What are the plans to support OWE-transition mode?
Should OWE default to OWE-transition mode?
