Command kde-open www.google.com opens the page in Firefox. I have just
tested it.
Same result as with xdg-open.
DESKTOP_LAUNCH is not defined on my system.
Neither x-www-browser link in /usr/bin as Loiseleur Michel suggested.
I can give it a try tomorrow.
I have to confirm it also happens with Mandriva OOo 3.0.1 build so it is
not go-oo or 3.1 specific.
There is even more annoyance with that:
- it always opens a new Konqueror window
- it resets some setting in Konqueror. It resets them permanently. I
always hide a bookmark toolbar in Konqueror but after is Konqueror open
through OOo it is back and stays until I manually hide it again. Simple
Konqueror restart does not help.
Many thanks
Jan
