Petr,
After even commenting the "ubuntu-no-stack-protector.diff", I get some patch
errors for "mysql", I commented them also the building starts, now new
problem is "javac not found problem"
Message is
checking for javac... no
configure: error: javac not found set with_jdk_home
make: *** [stamp/build] Error 1
Now I looked for this problem over internet and suggested my most people is
use blackdown-jdk instead of sun's. Is that solution applicable here? if
yes, blackdown-jdk isnt available it seems, I tried finding j2re no luck,
and many other places I checked which gave link for blackdown, all giving
404 error.
I wish I started building on openSuse instead of Ubuntu! As in exercise of
GSoC I even need to change functionality of CTRL-S and CTRL-N and today
already GSoC student application started :(
