What do you mean by repeating successfull buildings?
What are the steps you are using?

If you run make second time, it should just go through all the directories, 
decide that there is nothing to rebuild and continue. dmake is quite slow, so 
it takes even few minutes but it should be much faster than a real build.

I know only about the two described below.
