My guess is no, not in the short term. The focus lies on getting
things "right" for VIA's next generation GPU.

Someone could of course work on support for older GPUs once the full
docs are published, Harald Welte writes to the dri-devel list that
documentation will come soon for the Chrome9 pixel shaders.
