No, no, no, you're not overriding anything.  ./autogen.sh *creates*
./configure.  Then you run this ./configure; and you can pass certain options
to it to adapt the configuring to your needs.

No, we don't want a blabla update, we want *data*.  And it doesn't matter how
long it takes: you are the one who wants to get things working, we are in no
hurry.
