I'm tired of remaining completely silent, and 01micko (Puppy dev who was
helping me before disappearing) seems to be either too busy or too uninterested
to help me.

While I'm awaiting notification from him that I'm clear to post his
nonfunctional script to the forum for others to fix, since he either won't or
can't -- I've decided I'm going to, at least as a temporary measure, do a
"frugal" install of the target Puppy (X-Tahr 1b3 as usual) to the test machine
(WYSE Cx0, my example being an upgraded C90LE).

My abilities to test and report back will be limited to "it works" or "it
doesn't", until I get that script working -- to be clear, that means no
logfiles -- but at least I'll know *something* and be able to provide *some*
feedback. The upshot of course is that if the report back is that everything
works, I'll have something to smile about, which after the past couple weeks, I
kind of need. (Nothing to do with this stuff -- trust me -- just, life as of
late has handed me a whole fruit orchard's worth of lemons... small lemons,
mind you, but they really do all add up! Well, that, and I've gone and run
myself out of sugar... ;) )
