Still doesn't work, still freezes solid at a screen fulla garbage.

*sigh*

In the process I also discovered that my 64gb SD card and its IDE adapter have
died. The adapter won't boot from a card, and the card works fine until power
is removed or the system is rebooted -- at which point it goes all scrambled
eggs inside.

Oh well, there goes my disposable income for next month... :(

...and, since I did not perform a Full install -- since I can't -- no logs this
time. Sorry... just how it goes...
