Could the people having problems try the following in their xorg.conf?

       SubSection "Display"
               Depth           24
               Modes          "720x576Noscale"
               Virtual                722 576 #This is slightly wider
               ViewPort       2 0 #This tells xorg to start displaying
2 pixels from the left
       EndSubSection

This works on my board to get a proper image. But only as long as the
virtual desktop is shifted to the right. If you use the mouse to move
the virtual desktop all the way to the left, I get the corruption
again.

I recommended this to one other person with a SP13000 and it worked
for him as well.
