No idea about the resolution, nor the cpu usage, but it is supported.

Supported as well, check in the wiki for the resolution. There is 
something in it, iirc.

No mpeg-4 support yet. And when it'll be here, it'll probably only be a 
subset of mpeg4 only (h263 but not h264). Ivor knows better than I...
