Sorry, but this is just another "me too" post. I have this exact same
board, also with 1G ram. It hard locks about 5 times a week. This was
true even running the vesa driver; openchrome installed and gave
better performance but the lockups were unchanged. I first tried
debian etch and later reinstalled with ubuntu edgy. I also tried
various combinations of all the driver parameters you mentioned.

I am in the process of abandoning all hope of using this board for its
originally intended use. I should have done more research on CN700
support before buying; this is not a mistake I will repeat.
