Hello,

Any news concerning this black screen using CN700 and XvMC ?
I'm facing exactly the same problem with my Epia C7 card.

Some more precision : I first tried to make it work with a not updated agpgart
module. The drmAgpAcquire function failed and I had the following message in
Xorg log file
(II) VIA(0): [dri] use pci.
All was working fine with xvmc, except that the CPU gain was not really
important.

Then I upgrade my agpgart module. I now have the same messages as Trevor in my
Xorg log file
(II) VIA(0): [dri] use agp.
But now, I have a black screen and no error messages.

I hope it helps finding a solution to our problem.

Christophe
